UNIVERSITIES

The Research and Recognition Project is proud to be collaborating with several Universities. Their research and support brings an important element of impartiality to our research, further helping to prove the efficacy of the protocols.

UNIVERSITY COLLABORATION

SUNY Upstate

As part of the ongoing research program at the Middletown, New York site, we have partnered with Stephen J. Glatt, PhD. Dr. Glatt is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and of Neuroscience and Physiology, as well as Associate Director of Medical Genetics Research at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He is developing a gene-based biomarker for the presence and alleviation of PTS. He and his staff are participants in the ongoing research at Middletown by providing not only the blood-biomarker analyses, but also performing the statistical analyses for the project at no cost.

Bradley University
Bradley University in Ohio has signed a letter of intent to perform a pilot study similar to the one at Middletown with the use of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to confirm the presence and resolution of PTS. That enterprise has engaged Lori A. Russell-Chapin, PhD, Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences as Primary Investigator; Celia Johnson, Ed.D., Professor of Education as Research Specialist; and Nancy E. Sherman, PhD, Professor of Leadership in Education, and clinical coordinator for the Human Development Counseling program as Clinical Co-ordinator. The Team at Bradley has already obtained preliminary funding, and RTM training for their clinicians has been scheduled. As part of the plan of research we will be collaborating with them in the creation of a graduate clinical program, with an emphasis on NLP and its techniques.

Universities in North Carolina

Letters of intent and initial funding has been obtained for researchers from Emory University and the University of North Carolina in a collaborative pilot of the RTM protocol using MEG imaging and physiological markers to test the protocol. Part of the study will include the development of training materials for other studies at other Universities. Dr.Karen Selz, Director and Senior Scientist, Cielo Institute, Inc.,(Non-salaried)

Research Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Emory University School of Medicine; Adjunct Professor of Mathematical Sciences, FAU, Boca Raton, Fl. will serve as Principal Investigator. Connie Schrader, MA, Lecturer in human wellness will serve as Clinical Director.

University of New Mexico

We have entered into an agreement with the University of New Mexico for a third pilot study. This one will use Magneto Encephalographic Analysis (MEG) to test for PTS and its alleviation. Jeffrey D. Lewine, PhD, is Research Associate Professor at the University of New Mexico, and Professor of Translational Neuroscience, and Director of Business Development at the Mind Research Network. He is PI of the anticipated collaboration.
